Picture of the Week

Look what I found in my parents' backyard last weekend!
This is a Texas-sized Azalea, in case you've never seen one.
They grow on Texas-sized bushes that stay lush and green all winter.
And look, there is a huge promise of more to come!
Spring is just 22 days away....

They get better all the time, but they should because the Azalea Trail is just a week away!!!
Tulip trees are out too and pear trees are blooming! Spring is early in South Texas. Everything is in time for the Trail Riders who will be here tomorrow.

Spring in South Texas+Alabama girl+Red Cedar blooming= AAAACHOOO!!!! It is lovely though and I loved the "Texas Size" flowers! Just not the cedar fever!
